The companies we use to run Anjin Media, and exactly what each one handles. This is the whole list - if a vendor is not here, it does not touch your data.
DRAFT - PENDING OWNER REVIEW
This page is in draft while the site is pre-launch. Everything below describes what this site and this service actually do today, but it has not yet been reviewed by a solicitor or signed off. If you need to rely on any of it before then, write to legal@anjin.media and we will tell you where the wording stands.
1 Current sub-processors
A sub-processor is a company that processes data on our behalf so the service can work. Eight of them, each with one job:
- ASSEMBLYAIEU endpoint
- Speech to text, and separating one speaker from another. The audio extracted from your uploads, handed over as a signed link that expires after two hours. Their published security page names Dublin as the European processing centre behind that endpoint. Your video never goes.
- ANTHROPICUnited States
- Composing and revising the plan for an edit.Transcript text and the brief you wrote. Text only: no audio, no video, no frames are sent for planning, because planning is a text problem.
- SUPABASERegion confirmed on request
- Database, file storage and sign-in for the service.Your media at rest - uploads and every derivative - plus the records that describe them: accounts, source groups, transcripts, plans, renders and usage counters.
- FLY.IOLondon
- Hosting and compute for this website, the API, the dashboard and the render workers.Media in transit and while it is being ingested or rendered, and the ordinary web server logs this site produces - the address a request came from, the time, the page, the browser string.
- STRIPEPayments
- Taking payment and running subscriptions.Billing identity: who is paying, for what, and the card details you enter with Stripe rather than with us. No media, no transcripts, no plans.
- RESENDEmail delivery
- Sending transactional email - billing notices and arrears warnings.Your account email address and the contents of those messages. No media. The anjin.media sending domain still has to be verified before any of it sends, and until that happens this row describes a route rather than traffic.
- GOOGLE IRELANDAnalytics · not live
- Measuring which pages of this website are useful, only for visitors who accept it.Nothing today: no measurement identifier is configured, so no tag can load. When it ships, and only after you accept: pages viewed, approximate location, what sent you here, and the kind of device you used. The cookies page carries the detail.
- GODADDYDomain and DNS
- Registering anjin.media and answering the DNS queries that find it.No customer data at all. Listed because a complete list is more useful than a flattering one, and because a registrar is a real dependency.
Two things that belong on a complete list. Our own operational alerts go to an internal chat webhook, and they carry no customer material - a job identifier and a failure reason, nothing more. And there is no monitoring vendor anywhere in the platform: no error-tracking service, no metrics pipeline, no session recorder. That is unusual enough to be worth stating rather than leaving as an absence you would have to notice.
What each vendor means for where your data physically goes - and the two transfer questions still open - is in the privacy notice. The security page covers the boundaries around them, and states each AI vendor's published position on model training separately rather than averaging the two.
2 How this list changes
When a sub-processor is added, removed or replaced, this page is updated in the same deploy as the change, and the date at the top of the page moves with it. This page is the record.
There is no notification list yet, and we would rather say so than imply a mechanism that does not exist. If you need to be told in advance, write to legal@anjin.media and we will add you to the list we notify by hand; an enterprise contract can carry a notice period as a term. Until a subscription route exists, checking this page is the reliable way, and the date at the top tells you whether anything has moved.
3 Data-processing agreements
Write to legal@anjin.media for a data-processing agreement, for a vendor's own terms, or for a security questionnaire to be filled in. Questionnaires are answered directly, in writing, by someone who has read the platform.
Anjin Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under ZC154847. For a question about personal data specifically - a subject access request, an erasure request - use privacy@anjin.media instead, and the privacy notice sets out what we do with each request. Both mailboxes are being brought up ahead of launch; if a message bounces before then, that is why.
